Hung Vuong Association of MN Hung Vuong Association of Minnesota was founded in 1999 by a
group of Vietnamese Americans who were committed to providing cultural and social activities for
youths in the Twin Cities. During its early years, the organization had a dragon dance
group and a year long soccer team.
Today, Hung Vuong Association of Minnesota continues to provide
and improve its programs and activities in response to the needs and interests of youths.
Hung Vuong Association of Minnesota is the only non-profit organization in the Twin Cities that serves
Vietnamese American youths...
Our Mission
Our mission is to work with and for youths in the Twin Cities to foster, maintain,
and share Vietnamese culture with others and empower youths to become active citizens
and future leaders through mentorship and meaningful activities and programs.

-- Youth’s Participation: We respect and encourage youth’s involvement and participation in planning, organizing and implementing programs and activities to enhance their interpersonal and leadership skills to succeed in life.-- Cultural Identity: We provide an environment for youth to foster, maintain and share their heritage, language and culture with others.
-- Artistic Development: We guide youth in trainings and assist youth to develop and enhance their abilities in performing and expressing their talents.
-- Leadership Advancement: We motivate youth to become active citizens and future leaders through mentoring and performing civic work.
